Apple started a new industrial trend when they decided to ship the iPhone 12 series without a power brick. Fast forward to 2021, with the launch of the brand new iPhone 13 series, charging stands have become more relevant than ever. With a lot of folks still working from home, the last thing anyone wants is a messy setup with a ton of cables lying around.
Enter Belkin, with their elegant Boost Charge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charge with MagSafe 15W. Leveraging Apple’s new proprietary tech, all you do is place your iPhone on the stand for a secure connection. No searching for wires. No alignment is needed. Just a single snap and you’re good to go.
Design
Belkin Boost Charge Pro features an incredibly neat single-cable setup. With stainless steel finishes and the choice of either Black or White color options, rest assured this is going to look great anywhere you place it at your home.
The greatest advantage however is the ability to charge your iPhone, Watch and AirPods simultaneously just by placing them on the designated spots. It is important to know that the AirPods charging area isn’t just limited to the AirPods themselves but can charge any Qi enabled device. We were able to charge Belkin’s own Soundform Freedom True Wireless Earbuds without any hassle. A white LED indicates whether your wireless buds are perfectly aligned and have commenced charging.
The iPhone can be charged in portrait mode or landscape mode depending on your preference which allows for a floating-like experience while FaceTime’ing your homies or binging Netflix.
Safety and Functionality
It is important to know that Belkin is among the few ‘Made for iPhone’ partners out there who have cleared Apple’s rigorous testing and certification process. The Boost Charge Pro 3-in-1 also features overheat protection to safeguard your devices. But what really makes Belkin stand among competitor products is that they’re also offering a ‘Connected Equipment Warranty (CEW)’ up to USD 2500.
Charging times vary under different testing conditions however it took us a little over two hours to charge the iPhone and Apple Watch. The AirPods took about an hour to charge.
